Images of Calgary

Peace Bridge is a pedestrian bridge, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, that accommodates both pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The bridge was opened in March 2012 and 6000 people a day cross it.

We went to see the Peace Bridge on a very cold day in April, the temperature was -2 degrees and snowing. The bridge is magnificent and I will go back again at another time of day to photograph it again as it is said to constantly change depending on the light and time of day.
