Banff National Park, Aberta, Canada
The images on this page were all taken in the Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada in April 2013.
This is Canada’s oldest national park, having been established in 1885. It is found approximately 100 kilometres west of Calgary, the Trans Canada Highway runs right through it.
There are many glaciers, ice fields, coniferous forests, waterfalls and stunning lanscapes to be found in this area, as well as the beautiful old railway hotels at Lake Louise and Banff.
I hope that these images convey to you the beauty and splendour of the area.
